“This is a story of resilience and the power of female friendship,” said Perry. “It is my hope that audiences will fall in love with these dynamic characters, and that they will be able to explore their own personal truths about healing and love in the process. I’m excited to launch this brand new show, and proud to do it on BET’s biggest night of the year and in their 45th year of programming!”
“Divorced Sistas” Cast
The ensemble includes LeToya Luckett (“Greenleaf”), Khadeen Indréa (“Ellis Ever After”), Porscha Coleman (“Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!”), Briana Price (“Step Up: High Water”), and Jennifer Sears (“Madea’s Family Funeral”), each bringing her own energy and style to the story. They’re joined by RonReaco Lee, DeVon Franklin, Donovan Christie Jr., and Robert Christopher Riley, rounding out a cast designed to reflect the messy, beautiful reality of modern relationships.

As creator, writer, director, and executive producer, Perry ensures that his signature blend of drama, humor, and heartfelt storytelling is front and center. Like his previous hits (“Sistas”, “Zatima”), this series speaks to real-life challenges—and the resilience it takes to overcome them.
At its heart, “Divorced Sistas” is about picking up the pieces—and having a crew to help you do it. Whether it’s heartbreak, healing, or navigating life’s curveballs, the show shines a light on the unshakable bond between women, and the beauty of finding your strength through sisterhood.

With “Divorced Sistas”, Perry expands a franchise that continues to connect with viewers—especially Black women—by telling stories that feel honest, empowering, and long overdue. And with its premiere set for one of BET’s biggest nights, the show is positioned for maximum impact.
