“After an incredible journey, I’ve made the decision to step away from “Emily in Paris”,” Razat wrote, alongside a gallery of behind-the-scenes photos with her co-stars Lily Collins, Ashley Park, and Lucas Bravo.

Best known for playing Camille, the effortlessly chic champagne heiress and Emily’s complicated friend-slash-rival, Razat became a fan favorite as part of the show’s tangled web of love and friendship. Her character’s rocky romance with Gabriel (played by Bravo) was a major storyline — one that came to a dramatic head in season 4 when Camille falsely claimed she was pregnant in a desperate attempt to keep him.

After her plan unraveled, Camille ultimately chose to leave Paris behind — and now, so has Razat.

“It has been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories,” she shared. Razat went on to thank creator Darren Star, Netflix, and Paramount “for giving me the opportunity to bring Camille to life and leaving the door open for her return, as she will always be a part of the Emily in Paris world.”

Reflecting on the arc of her character, Razat said, “This character has meant a lot to me, and I feel that her storyline has naturally come to an end. It felt like the right moment to explore new horizons.”

She won’t be gone from our screens for long. Razat is already lined up to star in two new series — “Nero” on Netflix and “The Lost Station Girls” on Disney+. She’s also stepping behind the camera with her own production company, Tazar Productions, which is currently developing its first feature film.

“I leave the show with nothing but love and admiration for the cast, crew, and fans who have supported us along the way. Thank you for the beautiful ride,” she concluded.

Though Razat is moving on, the show is full steam ahead. Season 5 will take the cast to Rome, promising fresh storylines and a change of scenery. Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, and Ashley Park are all set to return.

Camille’s character added heart and conflict to the show’s glamorous world of fashion and romance. Fans will miss her, but Razat’s departure is also a celebration of what she brought to the role — and the exciting path she’s paving for herself next. “Emily in Paris” is streaming on Netflix.
