HBO Announces “The Last of Us” Season 3 Renewal Ahead of Season 2 Premiere
HBO has officially picked up “The Last of Us” for a third season, just ahead of the highly anticipated Season 2 premiere on April 13. While the renewal is a major vote of confidence for the series, it remains to be seen whether Season 3 will mark the show’s conclusion.

Creators Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin have previously discussed the possibility of a four-season arc, planning to adapt the stories from both The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II.
