20th Century Studios has shared a first look at Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming biopic, “Deliver Me From Nowhere”. The movie is currently in production and follows the creation of Springsteen’s iconic 1982 album “Nebraska”.

Jeremy Allen White, best known for his two-time Emmy and Golden Globe winning performance in “The Bear,” is stepping into some seriously legendary shoes. He was first announced to be in consideration in March of this year. Bruce Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau said to The Hollywood Reporter of the casting that “Oh my god, he’s just perfect. The casting is great,” Landau told The Hollywood Reporter of White playing the superstar. (Director) Scott (Cooper) said to me at the beginning, he said, ‘We get the right cast, and we’ll tell this story right,’ and he got the right cast.”

The studio’s sneak peek shows White rocking the quintessential Springsteen look – we’re talking plaid shirt, biker jacket, and an attitude that screams “Born to Run.”

The cast is shaping up to be as epic as Springsteen’s discography. Joining White on this musical journey are Harrison Sloan Gilbertson, Odessa Young, and Paul Walter Hauser. With a lineup like that, we’re betting this film will hit all the right notes.

Jeremy Allen White speaks about meeting Bruce Springsteen

White and Springsteen recently had a real-life encounter at the premiere of “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.” This was the first time meeting in person. Jeremy spoke about the experience preparing for the role in an interview with GQ saying “We’ve got a really talented group of people helping me train vocally, musically, to get ready for this thing,” said White. “I’m also really lucky [that] Bruce is really supportive of the film, and so I’ve had some access to him and he’s just the greatest guy.”

When asked by Deadline at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, White couldn’t contain his excitement about the project. “I’m so stoked to kick this off,” he gushed, barely able to keep a lid on his enthusiasm. “We’re hitting the ground running soon. I don’t wanna spill too much tea before we get rolling, you know?”

But here’s the kicker – White let slip that he’s got a dream team backing him up, and get this: The Boss himself is totally on board! “Bruce has been an absolute gem,” White revealed. “He’s been super supportive and available, which has made this whole journey extra special.” And it doesn’t stop there – Jon Landau, Springsteen’s management guru, is also playing a big part in bringing this story to life.

So mark your calendars and get ready to rock. “Deliver Me From Nowhere” is shaping up to be the must-see biopic. With Jeremy Allen White transforming into the legendary Bruce Springsteen, a killer supporting cast, and the blessing of the Boss himself, this film is set to be a thundering success that’ll have you dancing in the dark all the way to the theater. “Deliver Me From Nowhere” is slated to premiere in theaters in 2025.
