The documentary also promises to dive into Megan’s perspective on the Troy Lanez controversy.
In July 2020, during an argument, recording artist Tory Lanez shot Megan in her feet. This incident sparked a prolonged legal struggle and resulted in widespread backlash against Lanez from those who doubted her account. By August 2023, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the shooting.

“The shooting, the betrayal. I was definitely getting a little too engulfed in social media,” In the trailer, Megan reflects on her thoughts, expressing feelings such as..: “Everybody hates me.” This trailer promises to give us another side of the Grammy winning superstar with her perspective on things that the media has long been involved in.
