Meghan Markle to Launch Candid Podcast Following Season 2 Renewal of Netflix Lifestyle Series

Meghan Markle The Duchess of Sussex,is getting ready to launch a new podcast called “Confessions of a Female Founder: with Lemonada Media. This comes a year after she teamed up with the company behind “Wiser Than Me” with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Meghan’s Journey as a Female Entrepreneur
Set to debut on April 8, the podcast will feature Meghan in candid conversations with female entrepreneurs who share the ups and downs of their journeys—from building businesses to eventually selling them. Listeners will get a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges and triumphs these women face, along with personal stories that have never been shared before. Meghan’s podcast aims to empower women in their entrepreneurial journeys.

Meghan’s New Podcast Journey
The eight-episode series will be released weekly and marks Meghan’s first original podcast with Lemonada. The company, founded in 2019 by Jessica Cordova Kramer and Stephanie Wittels Wachs, is also behind popular shows like Hard Feelings with Jennette McCurdy and Choice Words with Samantha Bee.

Meghan Markle’s Statement on New Journey
As of March 12, Meghan’s new show has secured the 10th spot on Netflix’s global Top 10 Shows list. Since its release on Tuesday, March 4, “With Love, Meghan” has garnered 2.6 million views and a total of 12.6 million hours watched, according to the streaming service.
In more specific rankings, “With Love, Meghan” sits at number seven on Netflix’s Top 10 Shows chart in the UK and holds the tenth position on the US Top 10 list.

This comes shortly after “With Love, Meghan” was renewed for a second season on Netflix, following the debut of the lifestyle show just last week. Meghan shared her excitement about the new podcast, saying, “I’m so proud of what we’re creating and the real conversations I’m able to have with other female founders as we discuss the ups and downs of building a business.” Deadline was the first to report the news on Meghan’s new podcast.
