Millie Bobby Brown is switching gears from monsters and mysteries to romance and fate in her newest Netflix project, “Just Picture It“. The film teams her up with Gabriel LaBelle, the breakout star of “The Fabelmans” and “Saturday Night”, where he played a young Lorne Michaels—a performance that earned him a Golden Globe nomination earlier this year.

“Just Picture It” Premise

In “Just Picture It”, Brown and LaBelle play two carefree college students whose lives are turned upside down when their phones start glitching. Instead of texts or social media updates, the screens show them as a happily married couple with kids—ten years in the future. The only catch? They haven’t even met yet.

Blending rom-com charm with a sci-fi twist, the film explores love, timing, and the idea of destiny in the digital age. It’s directed by Lee Toland Krieger (“The Age of Adaline”) and written by Jesse Lasky. Brown also steps behind the camera, producing the project through her company PCMA Productions.

Millie Bobby Brown & Netflix

The film marks Brown’s first foray into romantic comedy, adding to a growing resume that already includes producing credits and lead roles in hits like “Enola Holmes” and “Damsel”. LaBelle’s star continues to rise as well, and his chemistry with Brown is expected to be one of the film’s biggest draws.

With a fresh concept, two of Hollywood’s most promising young actors, and a creative team that knows how to balance heart and humor, “Just Picture It” is already generating plenty of buzz—and could be Netflix’s next big romantic hit.

And Millie’s just getting started. She has a massive year ahead, with the three-part final season of Stranger Things set to premiere later this year. The episodes will roll out on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve, promising an epic sendoff for the beloved series. The trailer dropped today—check out our full coverage here.
