New Trailer & Everything We Know About ‘Andor’ Season 2 on Disney+

The rebellion is rising, and so is the hype! Disney+ has finally dropped a first look at the highly anticipated second (and final) season of Andor, giving us a glimpse of the Emmy-nominated Star Wars drama’s thrilling conclusion.
The teaser trailer, which you can watch below, teases Cassian Andor’s next chapter as he inches closer to his ultimate fate in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. And trust us, the stakes have never been higher.

According to the official description, Andor’s sophomore season will crank up the tension as war looms and Cassian cements his role in the Rebel Alliance. Expect betrayals, sacrifices, and shifting allegiances as the battle against the Empire intensifies. Oh, and did we mention? Rogue One villain Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) is back, along with fan-favorite droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk). Yes, it’s all happening!
Andor Release Date and New Cast
The 12-episode final season will be structured into four three-episode arcs, each playing out like its own mini-movie. The first arc drops April 22, with new chapters rolling out weekly.

Series creator Tony Gilroy is promising an emotional and expansive ride:
“One of the great thrills of making Andor is the scale of the story and the number of characters we’re able to meet — ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries. They are real people making epic decisions, all of them staring down questions with terrifying consequences. Cassian’s journey is the soul and spine of our story, but it’s the choir that makes the show. I’m so excited for audiences to see where we go in season two.”

Returning alongside Diego Luna are Andor power players Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, and, of course, Alan Tudyk. Plus, Forest Whitaker is back as Saw Gerrera because no rebellion is complete without him.
Get ready. The final fight is coming, and it’s going to be epic.
