The show premiered in August 2020 and quickly became a fan favorite, winning 13 Emmys along the way. Season 3 wrapped nearly two years ago, and fans have been waiting for more ever since.
While we wait for production to finish and for a release date to finally drop, here’s what we do know so far about the upcoming season.

Sudeikis will be returning as Ted Lasso for Season 4 and he’s bringing some familiar faces with him. Fan favorites like Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift are all returning.
While some familiar faces remain, a few new cast members will also be joining the crew. Expect to see Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely in the upcoming season.

AppleTV+ also shared the show’s logline, giving fans a little peek at what’s coming in the new season.“Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would”
