Jason Isaacs, known for his iconic roles like Lucius Malfoy in “Harry Potter” and his performances in “The Patriot” and “Black Hawk Down”, takes on the role of Timothy Ratliff, the patriarch of the wealthy Ratliff family in “The White Lotus”.
Timothy is married to Victoria, played by indie darling Parker Posey, who has starred in cult classics like “Party Girl”, “Dazed and Confused”, and “Scream 3”. Recent projects such as “The Staircase” and “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” earned her an Emmy nomination.
Their oldest son, Saxon, is portrayed by Patrick Schwarzenegger, whose credits include “Gen V”, “The Staircase”, and “American Sports Story”. Saxon, the eldest of the Ratliff children, adds complexity to the family dynamic.
Next in line is Sarah Catherine Hook as Piper Ratliff, the middle child and a college student who turns her research project into a family vacation. Hook has previously appeared in the new series “Cruel Intentions” for Prime Video and “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”.

Tayme Thapthimthong plays Gaitok, a security guard with a fascinating real-life background in security and the Thai Armed Forces.
The White Lotus staff includes returning faces like Natasha Rothwell’s Belinda, now in Thailand seeking a fresh start, and seasoned Thai actor Dom Hetrakul as Pornchai, a wellness staff member. Rothwell recently starred in Hulu’s excellent and underrated comedy, “How To Die Alone” which was unfortunately canceled after one season. Rothwell is shopping the series around to other streamers.
The intrigue deepens with Walton Goggins as Rick, a mysterious older boyfriend, and Aimee Lou Wood as Chelsea, his much younger, cheerful girlfriend. Goggins is known for “The Hateful Eight” and his Emmy nominated role in “Fallout”, while Wood rose to fame with “Sex Education”.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s glamorous owner, Sritala, is played by Lek Patravadi, often referred to as “the Judi Dench of Thailand” by Mike White for her legendary career in film and stage.
