BRIDGERTON: Season 2

Dust off your teacups and top hats! The Netflix smash hit is back for Season 2! Yes, dear reader, the rumors are true that Season 1 star Regé-Jean Page is not featured this season. But don’t you worry- Shonda has still provided us with PLENTY of eye candy! This season sees the focus shift to the romance between Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley.) And while things are slightly less steamy this time around, fans of the show are still in for a ball of a time. We cannot wait to hear what current day pop hits get the 19th-century treatment!

THE LOST CITY

Watch in Theaters

Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum star in this action-packed romantic comedy. It’s the story of an erotic romance novelist who gets kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire and ends up on an adventure (alongside her hunky cover model) that feels straight out of the pages of one of her books. It’s a star-driven blockbuster, without superheroes, the likes of which you don’t see nowadays! We mean… there’s even an extended cameo from Brad Pitt!

THE OSCARS

Watch Sunday Night at 8pm ET

It’s Hollywood’s biggest night! Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes are all co-hosting this year’s ceremony which will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. For the first time ever, eight of the awards will presented before the live broadcast begins in hopes that this will actually keep the ceremony itself to three hours long. There will also be special “Fan Favorite” and “Cheer Moment” awards presented to movies voted on by people on Twitter. Whether you’ve seen all of this year’s nominated films or not, the Academy Awards are always the epitome of Hollywood glamour. After two hard years for the movie industry, we think everyone deserves a night to come together and celebrate the magic of the silver screen.

PACHINKO (Watch on Apple TV+)

This sweeping epic of a miniseries follows the hopes and dreams of four generations of a Korean immigrant family. The show is based on Min Jin Lee’s best-selling novel and spans across different cities, generations, and languages. It proves to be both intimate in its portrayal of a family story while also being expansive in its coverage of history, culture, and politics. Needless to say, we weren’t kidding about this show being epic. If this all sounds overwhelming, trust us, just sit down and go along for the journey. If early buzz for the show can be trusted, you’ll be more than happy that you did.

Some artists are better known than others… looking at you Michael Bolton from Connecticut.
