When do Marvel fans find time to sleep? This week, Disney+ premiers their latest MCU expansion series- though this one is a little different from the others. Ms. Marvel is centered on Kamala Khan, a teenage Pakistani girl from New Jersey who doesn’t fit in. Her life changes, however, when she gains the ability to harness cosmic energy from a magical bangle. The show is historic for being the first Marvel property with a Muslim superhero! C’mon representation!

JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION

You had us at Laura Dern and dinosaurs. This addition to the Jurassic Park universe takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed and finds dinosaurs living all over the world. Now the future of mankind hangs in limbo as the question of whether humans and dinosaurs can coexist is put to the test once and for all. Blockbusters are back baby!

THE TONY AWARDS

Watch Sunday Night on CBS

It’s Broadway’s biggest night on Sunday as the Tony Awards return to Radio City Music Hall. Fresh off of her Oscar win, Ariana DeBose hosts this year’s star-studded proceedings which promise to be jam-packed with musical numbers, heartfelt speeches, and more special surprises. We’ve already got our tissues ready for what we can only imagine will be a moving tribute to Stephen Sondheim who passed earlier this year.

QUEER AS FOLK (Watch on Peacock)

This new reimagining of Russell T. Davies’ groundbreaking series is centered around a group of queer friends in New Orleans dealing with the aftermath of a Pulse-styling shooting.

THE JANES (Watch on HBO)

With the recent news that the Supreme Court is likely going to overturn Roe vs. Wade, this documentary could not have come at a better time. It tells the story of a group of women in Chicago who formed an organization to help women get illegal abortions in the pre-Roe era.

IRMA VEP (Watch on HBO)

Alicia Vikander stars in this meta-series as a movie star who goes to France to star as “Irma Vep” in a remake of the silent film, “Les Vampires.” The series is directed by Olivier Assayas who also directed the 1996 movie of the same name.

HUSTLE (Watch on Netflix)

Adam Sandler stars in this movie about a down-on-his-luck basketball scout who discovers a phenom talent abroad and brings him back to America without his team’s approval.
