A witch (Meryl Streep) curses a baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt) rendering them childless. She gives the couple three days to venture into the forest and retrieve the ingredients needed to reverse the curse lest they remain a barren couple. During their journey, they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Jack (fresh from his last sneak up the beanstalk), each one on a quest to fulfill a wish.
