The first season of The White Lotus took us all by surprise with its’ tense twists and turns that followed a luxury resort’s employees, guests, and the trickling effect that multiple dysfunctions had on all involved. Season 2 whisks us away to another White Lotus property in Sicily, and welcomes fresh meat in the form of pampered travelers, including season one standout Jennifer Coolidge reprising her role as eccentric socialite Tanya.

Demon brothers Wendell and Wild must face their arch-enemy with the help of  Sister Helly, a nun famed for expelling demons. The feat gets even more complicated, however, as the brothers are not only tormented by her, but also by her altar boys. Produced by Jordan Peele, Wendell, and Wild hits theaters and Netflix this week.

The Good Nurse

Overworked  ICU nurse Amy Loughren is shocked to discover that a colleague she leans on at work and at home — is found to be responsible for the murder of dozens of patients over a period of sixteen years. Based on the 2013 book of the same title by Charles Graeber, The Good Nurse stars Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Nnamdi Asomugha, Kim Dickens, and Noah Emmerich.

Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities (Watch on Netflix)

Strap in horror fans, because this one’s for you! Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities is an eight-episode anthology of sinister stories based on various short stories by Emily Carroll, Michael Shea, H.P. Lovecraft, and Henry Kuttner; and told by revered horror creators. Viewers are in for a treat as the series features two original stories from the creator and filmmaker, himself.

Prey for the Devil (Watch in theaters)

The Roman Catholic Church combats a global rise in demonic possessions by reopening schools to train priests to perform exorcisms. Although nuns are forbidden to perform this ritual, a professor recognizes Sister Ann’s gifts and agrees to train her. Finding herself on the frontline of a horrifying spiritual battlefield, she fights against the unknown for the soul of a young girl who’s possessed by the same demon that tormented her own mother years prior.

Saturday Night Live with Host and Musical Guest: Jack Harlow (Watch on NBC and stream on Hulu)

This season of SNL is coming with the heat! On the six-inch heels of Megan Thee Stallion’s memorable slot as both host and musical guest, comes fan favorite Jack Harlow. The 24-year-old rapper will get to showcase not only his musical talents but his acting and comedy skills. We can’t wait!

Unsolved Mysteries: Vol. 3 (Watch on Netflix)

This iconic series uses interviews and re-enactments to viscerally retell the circumstances of mysteries that never got resolved. Covering stories of long-lost love, true crimes, paranormal activity, and elusive historical events, Unsolved Mysteries has been a tv-lovers’ favorite since the late 1980s. It makes its grand return with all new episodes on Netflix.

Big Mouth: Season 6 (Watch on Netflix)

The unapologetically raunchy pre-teen hormone rollick of an animated series Big Mouth is back! The new season puts an emphasis on family— biological and chosen.  Inspired by the childhood experiences of co-creators Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg, Season 6 will continue to follow the Hormone Monsters as they handle adolescence, dissecting the notion that while you can’t pick your blood family, you can create one with people who love you as you are.

Louis Armstrongs Black and Blues (Watch on Apple TV+)

This documentary honors the musician’s legacy as a founding father of jazz. The film shows how Armstrong’s life spans the shift from the Civil War to the Civil Rights Movement, and how he became a prominent figure during such a turbulent, historic era.
