Stream on Peacock

We have no choice but to stan. In this new Peacock comedy from executive producer Tina Fey, members of a Y2K-era girl group reunite in their forties to chase the fame that evaded them as younger women. The show stars actresses Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell. If you’re an “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” or “30 Rock” fan this is definitely one that you’re going to want to check out.

Legendary: Season 2

Watch on HBO Max

10, 10, 10s across the board! Legendary is back for a second season and is as fierce as ever! In this reality competition, 10 different ballroom houses compete for a prize of $100,000 by going head-to-head in different dance and fashion challenges. If you’re a fan of “Pose” “Paris is Burning” or “Drag Race” this is one for you! Guest judges this season include Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert, Taraji P. Henson, Normani, and Tiffany Haddish. We are SO ready for this battle.

Watch on Netflix

This film originally debuted at Sundance in 2018 and is now finally available to a larger audience on Netflix. Based on the young adult novel of the same name, the movie tells the story of 17-year-old honors student, Steve Harmon. Steve has the world ahead of him until he’s charged with felony murder. Soon he must battle for his innocence and life within a court system that’s already judged him. The film stars Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Jennifer Hudson and forces us to reexamine whether “justice for all” exists for all of us or only a privileged few.

Bonus Picks

Shrill (Watch on Hulu)

This Aidy Bryant comedy is back for its third and final season. The new season finds Bryant’s character jumping back into the dating world with wildly mixed results.

Ziwe (Watch on Showtime, Sunday at 11 pm ET)

This is gonna be iconic! Few people have had a bigger past year than Ziwe Fumudoh. Now the hilarious comedian is coming to Showtime with her own variety show! Expect the signature no-holds-barred brand of comedy that she’s become known for along with sketches and musical numbers.

Mythic Quest: Season 2 (Watch on Apple TV+)

This workplace comedy about employees at a video game company is back for a second season. The first season didn’t garner a boatload of attention, but if you’re a sitcom fan, the writing here is exemplary!
