Will Ferrell & Ana Gasteyer Hilariously Cover ‘Not Like Us’ at SNL’s 50th Anniversary Concert—And Yes, They Went There

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s ongoing feud just got the SNL treatment—and let’s just say, it was not like anything we expected.
The Culps Take on Kendrick’s Viral Diss Track
Last night (February 14), comedy legends Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer brought back their iconic music teacher duo, The Culps, at SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert—and their setlist included none other than Kendrick Lamar’s chart-topping Drake diss, “Not Like Us.”
Dressed in their signature cardigan-clad, overly enthusiastic music teacher personas, Ferrell and Gasteyer performed a hilariously awkward cover of the scathing track at Radio City Music Hall, much to the delight of the sold-out crowd. The duo fought back laughter as they delivered their signature offbeat renditions, adding a new layer of comedy to the already infamous song.
“Are Kenny Lamar & Drake Graham in the House?”
Before launching into the cover, Ferrell’s character, Marty Culp, couldn’t resist poking fun at the headline-making rap beef.
“Are Kenny Lamar and Drake Graham in the house, by the way?” he quipped. “Maybe you two can hug it out tonight in the name of love and fellowship. No? Not in hell?”
(We’d pay good money to see Drake’s reaction to that one.)

A Star-Studded Night of Music & Mayhem
The Culps’ take on “Not Like Us” was just one of the many wild musical moments from the night. Their set also included covers of:
🎤 Britney Spears’ “Work Bitch”
🎤 Sam Smith & Kim Petras’ “Unholy”
🎤 Megan Thee Stallion’s “Body”
🎤 Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!”
And of course, the event itself was packed with SNL royalty and music superstars, including Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Cher, and Dave Grohl.
What’s Next?
The SNL50: The Anniversary Special airs live this Sunday at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on NBC and Peacock—so if last night was any indication, expect more jaw-dropping surprises!
