The film also stars Taryn Manning, Bruce Dern, and Cheri Oteri (who grew up in the neighborhood the movie is based on!)

This one is for all of you Saturday morning cartoon fans out there! Whether you have kids, or are just young at heart, Michelle Obama’s new puppet series is utterly charming! In the series, the former first lady is joined by her puppet pals as they cook, eat, and discover foods from all over the world! Again, we do want to stress that this show IS made for preschoolers- but frankly, Michelle Obama could stream herself reading the phonebook and we’d watch!

Have four hours to kill?!? Spend Saturday afternoon watching Zack Synder’s Justice League. LONG story short, in 2017 Snyder had to step down during post-production of the original Justice League after a family tragedy and was replaced by Joss Whedon who made the film much brighter and shorter. Ever since then, fans and the cast of the movie have petitioned to see what the original director of the film had intended to release. It’s finally here and it’s… long- BUT if you’re a DC Comics fan this is a must-watch. (Also, we KNOW you watched Emily in Paris in the span of four hours- you can do this!)

We could write a whole paragraph here, but all you REALLY need to know is that Cynthia Erivo is singing Aretha Franklin songs tonight at 9/7c on National Geographic. Did that sell you yet?!? We thought so! Tonight kicks off the first part of an eight-episode mini-series that tells the origin story of the Queen of Soul. The series has faced some backlash for not obtaining consent from Aretha’s family. (Unlike Respect which is due out this Summer and stars Jennifer Hudson.) But again, you could do much worse than spending your Sunday night hearing Cynthia interpret these timeless classics.
