“Deli Boys” is not your average workplace comedy – and this is not your average Deli.

Starring Saagar Shaikh and Asif Ali, the new series from Hulu follows a pair of Pakistani-American brothers whose life turns upside down when they are forced to reckon with their father’s crime industry.

While they believed that their father ran a very successful chain of delis, what they found beneath the surface was dangerous and illegal.

After an American woman named Onijah Robinson made headlines for her trip to Pakistan, we had to ask: is there room for her to have a role on a tentative season 2?

“We’re talking about my girl,” said Ali, speaking exclusively with Popviewers.

For those who haven’t been on that side of the internet, New York native Onijah Robinson made waves after flying to Karachi, Pakistan, to marry a man she met online. When his family got in the way of their marriage plans, reports circled of Onijah staying put in Pakistan. Videos then surfaced of her holding press conferences, asking for money from the government.

“I’m asking for $100K or more. I need $20K by this week, in my pockets, in cash,” she said in the now viral clip. “That’s a demand to the government.”

When PopViewers sat down with the cast to discuss this unmissable new comedy, we had to ask them to weigh in on a possible guest stint.

“We were talking about it, and we were like, we have to have her do at least a cameo in season two,” Ali says. “Where she tells everyone to shut up. “You’re talking too much. Quiet. Nobody wants to hear all that. I need 100 grand in my pocket today, cash!’”

Alfie Fuller, who plays Prairie on Deli Boys, agrees on a possible casting.

“There should be [a role for her],” she told Popviewers. “If there’s not already, we need to write her in.”
