Apple TV+ is gearing up for an exciting new documentary series from the culinary world’s most well-known star, Gordon Ramsay. The streaming service has greenlit “Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars“, an eight-episode series that follows food expert Jesse Burgess as he delves into the high-stakes world of chefs striving to earn and maintain Michelin stars.

Burgess, a seasoned food critic and the co-founder of Topjaw, a popular social media channel known for restaurant reviews and celebrity interviews, will take viewers on a journey from Los Angeles to London. The series offers exclusive access to the iconic Michelin Guide and follows a team of anonymous inspectors who use false identities to visit restaurants and determine which establishments earn those coveted stars.
For Ramsay, the documentary holds personal significance. He explained, “As a chef, the pursuit for perfection is everything, and you cannot underestimate the unbelievable drive and ambition, the determination and sacrifice, these chefs are going through day in and day out, chasing the dream of acknowledgment from The Michelin Guide.”
