In a world where doom scrolling and internet culture remain dominant, it’s nice to get a reminder that people are still having in-person heart-to-hearts. Or in Joe Jonas’ case, we’ll call it a Heart By Heart. The global superstar is celebrating one week of that newest single of the same name, after a debut party that was one for the New York City books.

Joe Jonas: Music for People Who Believe in Love

A global superstar in his own right, and one third of the powerhouse band the Jonas Brothers, Joe Jonas had previously released two songs from his forthcoming album, titled Music for People Who Believe in Love.

This third song was debuted at a party at Bleecker Street in the NoHo neighborhood in Manhattan, hosted by Heineken as a part of their #SocialoffSocials campaign.

The campaign is aiming to help people step away from the pressures of social media, and get back to being social in person.

“It’s so easy to fall into the habit of doom scrolling on your phone – I’ve definitely been there. We live in a world where everyone’s glued to their social media feeds, so I’m excited to be part of this Heineken campaign encouraging people to put their phones down and connect in real life,” Jonas said at the event.

Jonas also explained his reasoning for wanting to premiere his newest song without social media.

“I chose to debut my new song offline and in-person because it felt like the perfect time to return to what music is really about: connecting with people. The crowd was so real, so present, and completely locked into the music – that is something you can’t experience by watching on social media.”

That crowd included Yankees’ Pitcher Luke Weaver, socialite Ivy Getty, Influencer Lil Cherry and more.

Jonas also teamed up with influencer Dude With A Sign, for an iconic photo set through windows decorated to look like a social media post.

If the first three singles are any indication – Joe Jonas fans have a lot to look forward to with this upcoming album, which drops May 23rd. And if this party was any indication – fans should be listening to it as intended – while socializing in real life.
